Strong. Independent. Urban. Empowered. Women. Fashion has always given power to women and these designs embody this. Designers have constantly come back to the idea of the urban female warrior/soldier and used it for inspiration.
I was looking at this amazing photo article on Vogue Italia and I though I should share it.
The ”Artisanal” collection for Fall 2012 Couture by Margiela is gorgeous. It was a mixture of vintage clothes, accessories, and other objects that were remade by hand into these garments. I love the patchwork, the beading and the beautiful masks. So avant-garde and possibly one of my favourites so far.
So I just made a huge move…biggest of my life and I am now a resident of Vancouver, Canada! I am so excited and inspired.
